Iron Machine Tool was founded in 2022 by Steve Brown and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 700 Central Ave NE, Suite 312, Minneapolis, MN 55414.
Before launching Iron Machine Tool, Steve spent 15 years at MC Machinery Systems the North American arm of Mitsubishi Electric working his way up to one of their top regional sales managers. That tenure gave him a level of technical depth and manufacturer relationships that most distributors simply don't have.
Iron Machine Tool was built on one observation: Midwest manufacturers needed more than a sales rep. They needed a local partner who understood their production environment, could recommend the right machine for their tolerance and throughput requirements, and would still be reachable after the sale. That's what Iron Machine Tool exists to provide.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business, Steve began working for Mitsubishi Machinery Systems in 2007. After working for Mitsubishi for 15 years and becoming one of their top sales managers, he made the decision to create Iron Machine Tool. Iron Machine Tool was created with the goal of providing more local resources to better support our growing customer base.
